Elden Ring will ask you to face many black knife assassins during your adventures. It must be said that they are directly involved in the events that led to the destruction of the Golden Order. But the time has come to face their leader, Alecto, the leader of the black knives.
Alecto Stance
To begin with, be aware that it is impossible to reach the area in which Alecto is located without progressing almost to the end of Ranni's quests. The final stages call for crossing the Decayed Lake, then defeating Astel, in order to reach the Moon Altar Plateau. Preparations

Fight
Alecto looks a lot like the other Black Knives Assassins, which makes sense. You should normally be used to facing them and dealing with their abilities, although Alecto is a big step above in terms of power. At least she's not invisible, that's already it. Remember that it is important to dodge her attack sequences, and to take advantage of the fact that she is quite easy to startle, especially with a powerful jump attack.
The big difference compared to his minions is that Alecto has a much more formidable jump attack, his knife will be charged, then blades will surround him a moment after hitting the ground. So you have to dodge and move further away, then wait before counterattacking. In practice, this greatly reduces what was considered the best attack window against Black Knife Assassins, at least in melee. It can still be used remotely.
Ideally, you need a quick attack or spell that you can fit between two attack combos from Alecto, since she will constantly maintain the pressure.
If you're playing from a distance, favor spells like Slingshot, Shardblade, and especially Adula's fantastic Lunar Blade. Frost damage and freezing will kill her very quickly. Skills similar to the Sword of Burning Night's Flame Volley also work quite well.
Drop: Black Knife Tiche
You will get 80,000 Elden Ring Runes and especially the legendary Spirit: Black Knife Tiche. Since the Mimic Tear's damage nerf, it's often considered the best summon in the game. It dodges a lot of attacks, it hurts a lot, and its ranged attack will also devastate boss lives. Its main flaw is that it requires 132 CP to be summoned. Your best option is to use the Vial of Miraculous Salvation with the Crystal Tear which reduces CP costs to zero for 10 seconds, allowing you to summon even without having enough max CP.
